The Rich Get Richer – But How?

I’m sure you’ve heard what is often rhetoric, from special interest groups about how the “rich are getting richer.”

When this comment is made, it’s usually with the undertone that somehow people are getting wealthy to the determent of others.

Are there times that this happens or has happened in history? Yes, but that’s not the focus of this article and I’m not minimizing that possibility with what I’m about to say.

But, that’s not how MOST people become rich or wealthy.

Most people get rich by either investing in or creating assets.

You must understand that people don’t get rich by earning more per hour than the next guy. That strategy just doesn’t work, you don’t have enough hours in the day and you can’t usually earn enough per hour.

So the question then becomes, what should you invest in or create?

There are many avenues to get ahead in life and many, many areas to invest in. However, most require some expertise.

I never recommend turning your money over to someone else and expecting returns that will make you rich.

No one has more interest in YOUR MONEY that you do.

This means you must gain some expertise, in order to get ahead. I’ve spent years and tens of thousands of dollars learning about the stock, futures, options and currency markets that I invest in.

Some of my lessons come from the mistakes I’ve made as well.
