School Library

A school library is a library within a school where staff, students, parents of a public and private school have access to a variety of resources. It is the one of the most important of all the person. The goal of the school library media center is to ensure that all the members of the school community have access to books and reading, to information, and to information technology.

Schools libraries are distinct public libraries because of they serve as learner-oriented laboratories which support, and individualize the school's curriculum. The school library serves as the center and coordinating agency for all materials used in the school. The school library exists to provide a range of learning opportunities for both large and small groups as well as individuals with a focus on intellectual information literacy, and the learner. It is the purposes of the school library.
