Anyone interested in a Go tournament in Lahti this summer?
Our Go club Salpauksen Saarto in Lahti has organized a Go tournament last summer and the summer before that. I was thinking that the best time for this year's tournament would be either on July 8 or July 15, both Saturdays. It's easy for players from Helsinki to arrive by train in only 48 minutes by Intercity or Pendolino trains or an hour by a local train. Kahvila Oskari again? Another venue? Something within walking distance from the train station would be ideal. Beer in the harbour if the weather is nice. If the weather is bad, there are many good pubs in the city centre.
I'm in, naturally. Both dates will do for me. I first need to check out when to take Leo to his grandparents that I can be quite sure it wasn't one of those weekends.
