The "Global Cooling" Scare of the 1970s

So-called scientific journals and magazines tried to sell the idea of building giant furnaces with smoke stacks above the Arctic Circle in order to burn fossil fuels to create a "Greenhouse effect" to protect the earth from the coming Ice Age.

Totally wasn't a corporate welfare plan for Big Oil.

    I remember the fake news back then about the "new ice age". Now they want us to believe the opposite. More fake news? I remain a sceptic. Thanks for the memories.
