An Infographic To Raise Awareness About Statelessness
As some of you know, my husband (@ironmanmatt) and I are committed to caring for orphans. Recently, we’ve been working to raise awareness about statelessness. Many children are made orphans because of statelessness. And stateless orphans are in some of the greatest danger of being trafficked.
I made this infographic to help people see at-a-glance that statelessness is a major issue, affecting millions of people worldwide.

Do children become stateless when their parents don't document their birth? @helenoftroy
The quick answer is yes, but depending on the country, it may not be too difficult to get the child citizenship later on if one or both parents are citizens.
Sadly, in cases where the children are orphans and are undocumented, it's an ongoing struggle.

This is the first time I have really thought about statelessness.
