Gameloot Network- A blockchain powered gaming platform.

Blockchain technology has had quite a number of applications, covering different sectors of the world economy right from it's inception. The first application of blockchain technology was in the creation of the first ever cryptocurrency "Bitcoin" and after Bitcoin, several other cryptocurrencies have been produced. Blockchain technology has been used to solve a whole lot of problems ranging from healthcare sector, financial sector even sports and it can also be applied to solve problems in the gaming industry as well and that blockchain solution to the gaming industry is the "Gameloot Network".

Most of the problems faced in the gaming industry can be traced to the creation stage of different types of games and the marketing of these games; more emphasis on marketing because the level of effective marketing of a game essentially determines the revenue for the game developers. Moreso, given the level of competition present in the gaming industry; several games are created yearly and the aim of the developers of these games is to reach a big number of gamers to help with the overall success of their games and that cannot happen unless they devise effective marketing strategies.
Another problem faced by developers is during the commercialization of their games; when developers create games and they are already underway with their marketing, they need to make these games available to potential gamers and as more gamers are joining in, more revenue for them so they have no choice but to go after platforms like (Google play store) in they can list their games. The problem in this commercialization for game developers is that these game platforms receive huge commissions which developers are forced to pay with view of the future in mind and by paying these commissions, their revenues are seriously affected and in a way they have no choice as they need to get their games out there.

Just getting their games out there is not enough as most gamers tend to move on to other games after trying out a particular game so it is up to game developers to do all they can to retain the attention of gamers; this has really been a huge challenge for developers in the gaming industry and a perfect solution is a way to engage gamers and make them feel they are valued.
Gameloot understands the problems currently faced in the gaming industry and has designed the perfect solution that would benefit every party involved in the success of a game.

The GLN and LOOT Platform.
The LOOT is the cryptocurrency associated with the GameLoot Network; GLN is the desired solution for the gaming industry and is categorised into 3 portals:
-Build Portal: In the build portal, developers and other members get to join the network for free and developers can create a community encircling the game they are creating; by doing this they raise anticipation on the part of member gamers and a lot of engagement prior to the release of the game.
-Play Portal: When developers complete their games and release their games within the network, member gamers have instant access to the games and their participation gets them some rewards in the sense that while playing games, gamers can earn a number of prize tickets which could later be redeemed for some LOOT. This portal represents the incentivicing portal and essentially helps in retaining the attention of gamers.
-Earn Portal: This portal promotes the marketing of games as members get to earn a lot when they refer new member to the platform and those new members become paying members of the GLN platform. This strategy is a really good marketing strategy as members would always want to keep earning and as such they would keep referring new members.
The aim of GLN is to capitalise on member interactions within the GameLoot Network.
