Sandwich Glass Museum at Cape Cod 玻璃博物馆游记

We went to Sandwich for a weekend getaway. Sandwich is the oldest town on Cape Cod. In this town, there is a glass museum. It offers a very wide range of rare glass, including glass from the local Boston & Sandwich Glass factory which was founded by Deming Jarves in 1825. The museum has a live glass blower, it shows creation of glass products. Right after you pay for the entry, you can go to the theater where they show you a movie about the history of glass manufacturing on Cape Cod. Then you can go to the demo furnace area where they made a glass vase live. After the demo show, you can wander through the displays of different types of glass, you will be surprised at how many rooms they have. There is also a gift shop where you can purchase any piece of glass product at very wide range of different price. It's a very good place to bring your family and Kids if you are a fan of glass and its history.
