Bitcoin Mining Another Solo Miner Gets Full Rewards Spark Has An Eye For Consensus

in #gjdkhlslast year

There are many people who make money using bitcoin mining. Also, some people use it to make their network more efficient.

The first group simply makes money. They mine as much as they can and sell it when they're done. They aren't really doing anything with their computers other than generating their own profit. So you're not doing anything to help the network.

The second group is a bit more benevolent, but still not very useful. These miners join the pool to share the cost of mining themselves and split the reward when the pool finds a block. This allows anyone in the pool to find any block, large or small, and if everyone eventually has a block big enough to find a block in the pool from anywhere, everyone join the block together, eliminating the need for solo miners. (even if those blocks were all discovered by a single miner)

But while these pools, at least in part, help keep things going, the problem is making sure every node on the planet is aware of every transaction going on in Bitcoin. cannot actually be resolved.
