Just won a steemit giveaway, and why this says alot about it's community! ( Thank you @lyonsolntsev !! )
I love steemit..
And not necesarilly for it's unique system. But for it's community. I can proudly say that steemit can boast the most open-minded, creative and selfless community out of all the social medias out there.
Here's why this giveaway impressed me:
There were ONLY two participants in just a couple of days! Now, normally, as any normal capitalist out there, you'd try to capitalize on this, and set a couple of rules regarding the number of participants. But @lyonsolntsev didn't do that. This was just his way of getting back to this community. There were only 2 participants! I'm pretty sure he could've backed away and none would've noticed or cared.
Maybe I'm just too excited about this whole thing, but honestly, Steemit's most valuable asset is it's community , not it's market cap or coin value. I'm sure this goes without saying, but a great social media platform without a great community is literally nothing.
Thanks for sharing this post..this exactely why I want to think that steemit can make a difference. That makes me feel that my time here is well spend^^.
