This is my review of the activities of @adollaraday. This is also my entry for the Review Contest organised by @girlsfoundation.

A Dollar A Day is a charitable project based on daily donations of 1 SBD per day. The project was founded by @pennsif in November 2017. The SBDs donated daily are pooled together and used to support good cause around the world.

@adollaraday provides support for numerous projects on the blockchain. This has translated into positive impart and transformation for numerous communities through these projects. In this review

Impacts

A Dollar A Day has facilitated tremendous impact through their sponsored projects. Some of the impacts of the @adollaraday projects will be discussed below.

• Education: @adollaraday has provided free education to numerous school children from around the world. They have also supported the establishment of the Steemit Literacy Training Centre in Cameroon. These are being achieved through projects like School For SDG4, The Greens and The Papillon Foundation and Papillon Charity

• Women Empowerment: @adollaraday has also been involved in empowering women by providing aid, support and counselling and also vocational training. This are being carried out through the Women Empowerment project and Woman’s Co-operative.

• Environmental Transformation: @adollaraday has also been involved in environment-centred efforts, particularly in areas of biodiversity, waste management and general sensitization. This is being carried out by The Greens.

• Girl-child/Social Enlightenment: @adollaraday has a focus on the girl-child. Using outreach programs, seminars and general sensitization. They also support visits to local schools and orphanages. This is being carried out by The Girls Foundation

• Family Protection: There are times when government regulations and policies end up separating families. This causes emotional distress to family members as they are forcefully separated from each other. @adollaraday supports Family Protection, a Blockchain based organisation dedicated to prevent these from happening.

• Animal Care: @adollaraday supports animal care. Though their support for Tazewell Animal Rescue Centre, they contribute to safeguarding the health and security of animals.
