Education is the bedrock of every society, the ability to transfer knowledge from one generation to the next is a major determinant of the success of a society, often times we find out that some part of what makes the society worthwhile is lost due to the fact that there was no effective transfer of knowledge from the previous generation to the now generation.

Education of the girl child have been a matter of utmost debate in most countries of the world, there are two major school of thought, the school that believes that the girl child has little or no value and hence should not be incorporated into the society, rather should be married off and remain in the home.

A second school of thought believes that the girl child deserves the opportunity to receive similar or same treatment from the society just like their male counterparts.
The world today is a clear path between the rich and the poor, the wealthy and less priviledged, the haves and the have-nots, and the only way to ensure equal distribution to an extent is charity.

Today, we will be reviewing @girlsfoundation’s visit to a school to spread the love of steemit, to educate the students and to distribute writing materials to the students as a means of encouragenement.

The team visited the school on their graduation date , 19th July,. 2018 in order to give the graduating students and best graduating students encouragement gifts, and to enlighten the students on the importance of education and purpose of the girl child, including spreading the news of steemit and teaching the students how to become self reliant and earn good wealth utilizing the opportunities of the steem blockchain.

@girlsfoundation team arrived at the venue at 1:47pm to join in the graduation activities of the schools, at 2pm, @faetee was invited by the Principal to give a speech , which she did exceedingly well, she enlightened the students on several issues including norms, values and ethics.

After the speech, the team commenced distribution of materials to the students and had their sits.

The best graduating students were called out by the Principal and awarded special gifts by the @girlsfoundation team. This was as a cue to motivate them to do better and also encourage other students to do more than they had, and strive better for excellence.

A total of 50 notebooks and 50 maths set were distributed, and the team took some pictures with the students and the school authorities, and exchanged pleasantries before taking their leave.

The Vision of @girlsfoundation are explicitly made to ensure effective maximization of the superior skills of the girl child, ensuring that they have a paradigm shift towards becoming better people and effectively impact the society in a more positive manner. 1. Enlighten youths of their purpose in life:

Education is key to success and @girlsfoundation believes that once students are fully enlightened about their purpose, they can efectively choose to become better people or not, the choice is absolutely theirs.

2. Ensuring A Rape Free Society:

The adverse effects of rape in our society today have caused increased loss of life and so many other post-trauma stress and stigma, @girlsfoundation is aimed at promoting values to engender a rape free society, through outreaches and campaihns targetted at enlightening the masses on the ethics for successful living.

3. Join the Fight Against Domestic Violence:

Domestic violence has caused strive and pains in many homes, including divorce, and other undesireable aftermaths, the effects of domestic violence is very demeaning, rooting deep into the personality of the victims, some of the effects includes:
• Physical effects such as hurts, pains, etc.
• Mental effects including trauma, drug abuse etc.
• Emotional effects relating to depression, hopelessness, etc.
• Developmental issues which could lead to deformity, retarded growth, anxiety etc.

4. Girl-Child Education:

Girl child education is paramount in our society today, with the advent of civilization, the girl child needs to be equipped fully to meet up to standard of the challenges in the world today and @girlsfoundation has taken it upon them to be the light that shines on the path of the girl child.

I am a lady, and i believe in the Vision of !girlsfoundation, so far the project have been what is would call an OVERHAULING SUCCESS, i’d love to commend the efforts of @faetee, @meemee, and @crystalll, who came together to set up something as awesome as this, not forgetting @raymondbruce too,
