@ginabot is a Discord notification bot that was made by @neander-squirrel.

If you don't have a Discord yet, this is a great time to download it and join some Steemit community groups on the way, It's the best way to engage with the Steemit community.

What can you get notifications on?

• Your comments, replies, and when someone deletes a reply.
• Transfers to you and transfers you make
• When you delegate SP, When someone delegates SP to you and when you get a return of the delegation.
• Producer (Witness), Curation and Author rewards, You can get the notification instant or schedule it to a daily/weekly/monthly report.
• Mentions, You can get a notification when someone mentions you or/and the extra users you added to the notification.
• Resteem and Follow, you can get notifications on when you do it and when someone else does it.
• Votes, You can get notifications when you vote, when someone votes on your comment/post, when someone flags you and when someone cancels a vote.
• New posts, You can get notifications when you publish a post and when other users publish a post ( custom, you choose who you want ).
• Blacklist a user, You can block notifications from certain users just by adding their name to the list, You can also blacklist a tag.
• Word Watch, You can get notifications on specific words you're interested in! This function is not case sensitive
• Tags, if you want to get a notification about a new post on a certain tag.
• Witness Votes, You can get notifications on when you're voting someone as a witness ( good if you're on a voting trail ), if someone votes for you as a witness and if someone disapproves his vote. You can also get notifications on Missed Blocks and Price Feed.

How do you use the bot?

Go to this Discord group and then go to #Registration

Now, You will need to write the following without @, write your username instead "yourusername"

..reg yourusername

And then, you will instantly get the following message from the bot

Now, You need to go to your wallet and send 0.001 SBD/STEEM to @ginabot with the memo you received. few seconds after you send 0.001 SBD/STEEM, your account will be validated and you'll receive the coins back to your wallet.
Once you get back your SBD/STEEM, you'll see a new private message opened with ginabot, when the bot sends the following message

Now, to change your settings, you'll need to click on "go to your settings" or write ..set in the private message with ginabot ( You can do that if you'll want to update the settings in the future ).

Now, You'll be redirected to the settings and now you can customize the notifications, here how it looks like ( The page is full with the futures I talked about at the start of this post )

Now, After updating the bot with the notifications you want to get, ginabot will send the notifications through a private message, it looks like this
