Gillette's the Most Evil a Corporation (like The U.S.) Can Get

in #gillette5 years ago

Gillette has launched a new advertisement that has lots of people in an uproar.
And although the advert is, indeed, a piece of garbage, filled with reverse stereotypes, turning everything black, white, and white, black, the true reason for this advert is not shown, nor is it just Gillette. We are seeing the tip of the camel.

In this advertisement Gillette makes all white hetero males look like assholes, jerks, and describes ALL of their actions as "toxic masculinity".

In the words of Stephan Molyneux, Gillette is blaming the group who has done the most for women's rights, who's countries have the safest women on the planet.

Although this is a piece of shit advertisement, most wonder, just how stupid is Gillette? Of course P&G will just blame someone in marketing, but everyone here reading this should know that nothing goes out as an advertisement without being checked through many levels of marketing, through trial runs, through test audiences AND through a team of psychologists.

The APA ( American Psychological Association ) is now working on defining "toxic masculinity" as a psychological disorder.

All those things that boys do, rambunctiousness, competitiveness, even just wanting to do something physical, these are all being classified as disorders.

There are many papers (some factual, some made up, but all peer reviewed) that are showing anything that used to be considered as just maleness, is now a detrimental to society and men.

They are trying to show that men who show signs of being men, (competitiveness, ) are insane.

Do you recall, a little while ago, this "insane lone gunman" went and shot up a mosque?
(whether this happened as described is highly dubious)

Then the MSmockingbirdM went and reported that he was an INSANE lone gunman, and here is the long list of times the FBI was called, and nothing was done.

And then, the people on Capital Hill started saying we should take guns away from "insane" people?
We have to stop this from happening again!

We have to make laws to take guns away from potential "insane lone gunmen".

So, now, a man (or boy) who displays manly traits can (and will) be diagnosed with a psychological disorder. Boys will be put on Ritalin. And the diagnosis will go into a national database.

Then, at some point in the future, The US congresscritters will get together and pass a bill stating that the police can take guns away from "insane" people.

And so, the police will go around confiscating guns from potential "insane lone gunmen".

This ends up with the 2nd Ammendment being repealed, without it ever being repealed.

It is already happening. Test runs have already been conducted in America.
You are now seeing the first part of the indoctrination to paint anyone who is manly (like veterans, especially veterans) as being a danger to themselves and society.

They are coming for your guns.

I am not convinced that competitiveness is natural state in anyone.
I am of the opinion that competitiveness is conditioned into people at great expense by the State.

Just think about it, if we were conditioned to be collaborative their system would fall apart within the hour lol

There are a lot of people who feel this way. However, upon deeper investigation, you find that it falls apart.

Competition with yourself is necessary for personal growth.
And this becomes more apparent the further you go.

This is why the life of a yogi is not for everyone. Most people cannot maintain that level of focus.

Further, if you want THE REAL example of competitiveness, you just have to look at young women at a place for picking up men. The competition there is as fierce as you will find. Some battles scarring people forever.

I am aware of the competitive nature of women (from personal experience) and how vicious that can be.
Not convinced that competitiveness is natural for humans. Listening to anthropologists my understanding is that when one member of a group tried to control/dominate the rest, they would be killed off and quickly.
The only other thing I can think of that would support your claim about competitiveness being natural is:
when my middle child was about 4 his older brother got a fright from some older boys at the beach who were throwing big rocks into a stream. His response was to go over there ad sort those bastards out : ) But it was more protective than competitive.
If you can point me in a reliable direction to increase my understand it would be appreciated.

Gillette can pry my beard from my cold, dead face.

I presently boycott P&G already. Wish I didn't so I could start now!

Thanks!

Me too!
I must go and throw out all my P&G products!
Looks around, ok, all done.

That was disappointing. Harrumph.

Damn I still use Old Spice. That is Procter & Gamble isn't it? Yep, sure is.

A lot of people don't even know about this evil Megacorp.

Such a stupid ad

I wouldn't call it stupid when it was planned and tested to be that way.

However, it really is a shitty ad.

Okay so yeah you basically made me watch the commercial... i was never going to see it but now I have because of you!
