Electricity is the key to the growth and potential of any country. Statistics, however, have shown time and again that some people do not have access to electrical power. This number has been and is still growing. A good example is countries in Africa. These are developing countries which lack the necessary technology to exploit natural resources which could generate electrical energy.

In a country like Nigeria, there is abundance of natural gas as feedstock, but at the end of the day, only less than half of the population has access to a stable supply of electricity. The reason for this is mainly due to the fact that majority of developing countries often rely on costly and inefficient substitute power generation systems.
