What are the gifts that girls expect from boys?
I don't know the complete list as it is endless...But I will summarize what I have given as gifts to girls/ what they like/ what my friends etc have given.

Materialistic objects:

Best gift- Chocolates (of course)
Flowers(only on birthdays, now obsolete)
Stuff toys
Deos/Perfumes
Photo-frames (a token of memories)
Cards(with messages/photos/collage type- mostly as a goodbye gift..) :P
Handbags/Purse
Earrings/Bangles/Wristbands/Chains (All kinds of accessories)
Wrist Watch
Also, Nerds surely like Books as a gift (if its from their favorite author, then they will adore them).

Non-materialistic:

Anything given as a surprise will create more impact than a regular gift. Even a sudden touch of warmth at the time of adversity will do wonders that no gift can.

Most importantly, if you will make a girl feel special and give her anything out of love and respect, she will not see the amount you have spent or the that's for sure(given the girl is not after your money)....So feeling (of love,care and respect) is the most important aspect.
