Doodling next years daydream
Well im back home, which is great and finally got to sit down to my thoughts which led me to this point.
you may of seen my greenhouse if youve followed me for a while, i love it bit its starting to get a bit rough around the edges and with the recent damage sustained in the last storm we had it may be wise to start planning a replacement.
Half is a standard 8x8foot ali greenhouse i got for free was missing glass and bits so it got bodged together but worked, i then built another 8x6 extension on to it, i did this freestyle, without a plan and it shows the plastic panels dont fit well and are hard secure.
so id like to rebuild, properly this time strong and effective i dont need it bigger as the 14x8 is a good size and produces a lot of crop.
so ive sketched a rough idea down tonight with a view to create a 3d model of it to make sure its good, work out costings and get saving as one thing i dont have at the moment is disposable income.
Hopefully thatll change by the time im ready to build though. for those of you that have greenhouses/poly tunnels whats your biggest issue? mines picking up plastic from the fields or neighbours gardens when ever the wind picks up... 😄
All the best
