Bucharest, the haunted capital of Romania(part 1)

With its historic background , Bucharest, the capital of Romania is one of the most haunted capitals in Europe. As you discover Bucharest you will find lots of ghost stories and urban legends that will send chills down your spine.
The most popular ghost story is about a hotel called Hotel Cismigiu.In the early 1990’s the building was a student dormitory. The place was in a terrible condition .One day a student(a girl) fell into the elevator shaft .At that time no one was in the building ,as it was a weekend. With deadly injuries, the girl screamed and yelled for help but no one heard her. She screamed until she died from the injuries.Her body was found days after the incident.
Today the ex-student dorm is a beautiful hotel but the ghosts of the past remain as people who book in say that they heard screams coming from the elevator shaft or see starnge apparitions. Today Hotel Cismigiu is a famous place and even a Romanian music band made a song about the place and its dark story.

Another haunted place in Bucharest is the Theater School.This place is well known because of the ghost of a famous Romanian actor ,Octavian Cotescu that haunts an out of order elevator. Another ghost that haunts this place is a woman in white that mysteriously appears in the women’s bathroom at the second floor.
The House of the People in Bucharest can be considered one of the biggest buildings in the world but also a haunted one. There are a lot of ghosts that haunt this huge building and scare the daylights outta the watchmen. Ghosts that wander the halls of the building whistle and trigger the alarm systems. Anca is the most famous ghost that scared the watchmen.She appears to them in a white dress begging for help.

The Central School is an old building with a lot of mysteries. According to some legends strange and things are happening in this building. Doors that move by it-selves bizzare sounds and unexplained smells. Furthermore ,there are voices that say objects are floating in a mysterious way. The Central School is also well known for its secret rooms and the basement is the place where strange noises can be heard.
