I've had encounters too but never ran for the hills. I usually say hello, or something more tongue-in-cheek like "Hey, just passing through." Those cold temperature rifts are kind of neat, aren't they? :)

I would always tell the cocktail waitress... Me and the "ghost" will be locking up tonight. She would get all freaked-out because she would feel those "colder rifts" in certain parts of the bar when she was all alone. But... I wanted to be polite and not piss off the "ghost" so I said Thank You and was outta' there in seconds flat! :))
