I agree the community is down, as a model I dislike the idea of steemit in the long term for viability in its current implementation. It is partly why I am looking at other alternatives such as Narrative or minds. We are still early in the adoption cycle of next generation social crypto networks where net worth will be found and what models will remain the most competitive will still need to be settled out. That said for all the railing on steemit there is still a chance for it. At least for now as Dapps do well and act as strong pillars to interaction that is beyond just monetary and potentially engaging.
