Follow Me to The Icy Beach in Germany - Eisstrand!

Hey guys, this kind of weather conditions are very unusual for the northern part of Germany. The photo above was taken in December 2012 on the beach at the baltic sea! Usually there is just sand the whole year around, it is one of my favorite places in Germany and the name of the beach is "Travemünde Strand". Once or twice in ten years, the weather can sometimes go crazy, like in 2012. The beach was just ice and people had the possibility to make a walk on ice. So did I and enjoyed a real arctic atmosphere :)

Just crazy for a place, because it almost never snows here :)

Seems like the dog is enjoying its walk on ice, too

I stayed until dawn to enjoy the tranquility of the beach

Hallo! Das Bild oben drüber und das darauf zu sehende Wetter ist für Norddeutschland ziemlich ungewöhnlich. Geknipst wurde das Foto im Dezember 2012 an der Ostsee, genauer gesagt am "Travemünde Strand"! Ein oder Zwei Mal in Zehn Jahren spielt das Wetter dann doch mal verrückt, wie im Jahre 2012. Der Strand bestand nur noch aus riesigen Eisbrocken und die Möglichkeit nutze ich doch gleich für ein Spaziergang auf dem Eis. Die Arktis - Atmosphäre gab es gratis dazu :)

Einfach nur verrückt, für einen Ort an dem normalerweise fast nie Schnee fällt :)

Der Hund geniesst seinen Eisspaziergang wohl auch

Um die besondere Ruhe am Strand geniessen zu können, blieb ich bis zur Dämmerung

Und das ist genau der selbe Strand nur halt im Sommer :)
