Follow Me into a Protestant Church in Bavaria - Evangelische Kirche in Bayern!
Hey guys, I have been in Tegernsee, it was my last day. Before I jumped into the train I had a wonderful breakfast and a nice visiting in a protestant church. In general I am a very curious person and I am very interested in the background stories of the places I visit.
I was entering the church and noticed that it looks quite bright, colorful and also has large windows. The church was renovated in 1990. Behind the altar there are five windows and have the coat of the founding family. The window in the middle contains a picture of Jesus, which also depicts scenes from the life of Jesus (his birth, the Sermon on the Mount, Gethsemane, Resurrection, and the Assumption).

The baptismal font of the church was made in 1896 by the sculptor Adam Kleinschroth in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria. If are you looking from the top of the baptismal font you can see that something is written on it: "Let the children come to me and do not defend them because such is the kingdom of God". In the silver bowl are also quotes from the Bible: "Who believes and is baptized He will be saved. "

Hallo!

The colors there are very different for a church compared to here in the states. That old wood door is awesome as well.
