Principle and Characteristics of Geotechnical Anchoring Technology

in #geotechnical2 years ago

In engineering construction, slope excavation has great potential safety hazards, which can easily cause accidents such as landslides. This will put construction workers in a relatively dangerous situation and affects the construction progress. Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out slope support. At present, the most commonly used support method is geotechnical anchoring technology, which can fundamentally ensure the stability of the slope, and has advantages that other support technologies do not have, such as low cost, convenient construction, economical and fast, etc.

Features of Anchoring Technology

Anchoring technology has strong application value and many application characteristics.
(1) The anchoring technology can fully combine the energy of the rock and soil mass and use the strength and energy of the rock itself to reduce the weight of the structure itself to a certain extent, and achieve the purpose of safe construction.
(2) The application scenarios of anchoring are relatively broad. Except that the permanent anchoring erection has certain requirements for soil quality, it can be applied in almost all kinds of strata.
(3) Because the cost of steel is high, using anchor rods instead of steel bars as side wall supports can greatly save costs.
(5) The anchor rod can ensure the safety of the structure to the greatest extent, and the has relatively small environmental pollution which is in line with the concept of "green and sustainable development"
(6) The construction requirements for anchorage are strictly regulated. When drilling holes, the location of the holes should be determined according to the design requirements and surrounding rock conditions. The hole distance error of the anchor bolt should not exceed 150mm, the hole distance error of the prestressed anchor cable should not exceed 200mm, and the deviation angle between the drilling axis of the prestressed anchor cable and the design axis should not exceed 3°.

Supporting Principle of Anchoring Technology

The support principle of anchorage technology is obviously different from other reinforcement technologies, and its structure needs to be further analyzed. Generally speaking, the anchorage system is mainly composed of three parts: anchor rod, anchorage structure, and restraint member. The function of the anchor rod is to play a connecting role, thereby ensuring the stability of the rock and soil. The anchoring structure is a critical component, which can transfer the pressure on the rock and soil slope and transmit it to the stratum through the anchor rod, so as to ensure the safety of construction. A constraint member is a relatively common reinforcement component, its main function is to exert constraint force, and its reinforcement effect is better.
Rock and soil anchoring technology mainly embeds the anchor rod deep in the formation, and then closely connects it through the anchoring structure. Through both ends of the anchor rod, one end is fixed, and the other end is connected to the rock and soil mass, so as to prevent the rock and soil mass from loosening and sliding. In addition, grouting can greatly improve the stability of rock and soil slopes.
The self-drilling anchor bolt system integrates drilling, grouting, and anchoring can be applied in engineering projects such as slope stabilization and foundation support, etc., and has better anchorage effect and drilling efficiency.
