My Fieldtrip continues continues in afikpo, Ebonyi state, Nigeria. Afikpo is blessed with vast land mass, which are vegetated, with shrubs, games, trees, and grasses. Ebonyi is known for agro products like their rice, yam, corn, different and nutricious species of agricultural product.

Location of Afikpo: it is located at 6°N latitude north latitude and 8°E longitude.
It is the second biggest city in Ebonyi State, Nigeria.

Land mass: It has an area of 240km².

Topography: Afikpo has highlands and low lands (Basin/deposits)

Population: Population of 156,611 at the 2006 census.

Occupation of the locals: Most of the indigines are farmers, they produce rice, yam, plantain, while some are hunters

The geographical entity known as (Afikpo) is situated in the southern part of Ebonyi State, Nigeria. It is bounded to the north by the town of Akpoha in Amoha Local Government Area, to the south by Unwana and Edda in Ubeyi and Afikpo South Local Government Areas respectively.

Briefing of the journey:

All bags and luggages were set to move from Rivers state to Ebonyi State.

Just got out from the hostel, had to use our bus to get to our location, which was like some miles ahead, on getting there, the bus couldnt go uphill, well we had to trek uphill.
