Here is a view of the underbelly of the Commodore Isaac Hull Bridge, which carries traffic on CT Route 8 across the Housatonic River.. connecting Derby with Shelton.

A native of Derby, Isaac Hull was the Captain of the USS Constitution when she famously defeated the British ship Guerriere off of Nova Scotia during the early part of the War of 1812.
