RE: What is Descriptive Geometry and why is important for engineering, architecture and design?
I do not know if you are still active here. I picked up a book on descriptive geometry in 1980 while in high school. I have used what I learned there more than any other single book.
I spent a career doing bluescreen and greenscreen work in the film and television industries. Taking background images that could be photo/film, CG imagery, or even hand drawn and matching to camera position and lenses has been a big part of my world.
My limited knowledge of descriptive geometry and increased the speed and quality of my work.
