They are found on the earth & I believe they are form the earth.
Ever see the story about the moon rocks given away after the moon landings? They ended up being petrified wood when tested & now other governments magically can’t find their moon rocks.
Your right there @ceattlestretch their created from molten material exploding from the impact in the case of the lybian its silica sand 😊
Funny story because if they gave over a hundred countries this same plaque then that's a hell of a lot of alleged moon rock!
