It's been a sidebar of the history of "discovery" and conquest that the indigenous tribes of the new world succumbed to diseases spread by European conquerors. Native immune systems were not familiar with microbes brought over by the invaders.
That's fine for germ theory mythology, but what about terrain philosophy? If viruses don't exist and never have then what killed millions of native people in the new world?
