One cannot underrate how important and vital creativity can be in the world of today. But the question is, Is Creativity really all you need?

Without even thinking many people might be quick to say yes. Why? Because they think creativity does it. Yes, creativity does it but it is not just enough. Think about doing things at the wrong time.

You are skilled and have an appointment by 8am, you missed the appointment and you think creativity will cover for you? No, it won't. Creativity is not enough, you need wisdom, calculation and punctuality.

Or it actually did cover up for you. OK, let's check for ignorance, you are a creative technician who lives in an area of low electricity and you have the idea to create a torchlight that illuminates the house, but you created a Television Set having in mind that it will be costlier to purchase and you won't gain a lot in a short while.

Hmm, you just committed a foolery. There's need for the torchlight but there's no need for the television set. You were creative but it was not enough. You don't only need creativity, you also need to listen to the environment!

Just as I said earlier, creativity cannot be underestimated just as it can't be overrated as well. You need creativity, true, but creativity needs other subordinate. Just as the head of man is his identity, but the head does not go alone, it needs the brain, hands, legs, teeth, stomach... to keep going.

How to Spot Creativity

It is easier to spot creativity when one is looking for it. As creativity is not confined to a particular area in life, we can find creativity anywhere.

Based on the definition, things to look out for when trying to spot creativity is NOVELTY, new perspective of solving a solution or displaying art, relevance.

Also one does not have to go in search for new things or methods before finding creativity. It could just be a little boy we see on the street trying to build a toy or a post we stumble on.

Another factor that comes into focus is the eyes as it aids in the mental perception of creativity.

Is creativity based on individuals?

---

When creativity is viewed in the context of mental perception, we see that it could become like beauty, which as they say, lies in the eyes of the beholder.

For example, let's consider a Steemit post under fiction. A curator might find the story creative, probably because he couldn't have guessed the ending. While another might not find it creative at all because he has read a lot of books and feels that more effort could have been put in to make the story more creative.

Therefore, individual knowledge plays a role in spotting creativity because if we don't know about a way of solving a problem in the past, we wouldn't even know that the solution just in front of us is new.

Another issue is comparison. To try to figure out if something is creative or not, we tend to make similarities, sometimes unconsciously.

Being careful is needed in this regard because most similarities are not done equally. We usually tend to compare strengths to weaknesses.

I am also of the view that creativity works with attitude. Someone who appreciates little things in nature or efforts people put into achieving an aim, no matter how small will be more likely to spot creativity easier than anyone else.

Finally, as the saying goes, we see others based on who we are, not based on who they are. Another one like it is, "to catch a thief, one has to think like a thief".

Hence, for someone to spot creativity, he has to be creative too. This would require gathering information through reading and research, and a little bit of traveling to new places.

Until a creativity detector bot is created, these are my thoughts on how to spot creativity Being creative might not come natural sometimes but we can take some steps in being creative.

All I’m saying is that "creativity can be triggered."

To trigger creativity, we need to first sit and ask ourselves questions like
Am I creative?

What brings about my creativity?

If the answers to those questions are "NO"

“No man is born empty, we all have something to offer the universe”. The art of creativity; simply put, is the mastery of creative enterprises. Enterprises such as writing, drawing, singing, and lots more. Science is a field of research that tests and confirms hypothesis.

The onset of creativity stems from the fact that ideas, thoughts, expressions and abilities need to be showcased. This is then proved to meet standards that are basics. The ability to prove what has been visually conveyed is identified as the Science behind the mastery of creativity. The following are paramount when expressing/explaining the science in the art of creativity

Signs in the art of creativity

The simplicity to convey to other people or group of people the understanding behind a creative act is of enormous importance. This is evinced in the feedback received from a showcase of creative enterprises. When feedbacks are received, this is when the art of creativity can be honed and mastered. This simply signifies that important and subtle messages being passed across are successfully delivered. The signs in the art of creativity is a subtle target at feedbacks.

The ability to reason unguided along with a creative thought, drawing or messages must not be too hidden that viewer or readers can be easily lost. There is no fast route in making a chronological conclusion at every stage of work than to be expressive at every punctuation. The uniqueness embedded in any creative voyage must be easily decipher.

Sequence in the art of creativity

Rome was not build in a day. Sequencing, pacing and strategically placing ones mettles in front of observers or interested fellows are art to be mastered. This is because human being tends to do better at every next giant step. This is ofcourse something that has to be done sequentially.

A wrong designed paint done yesterday, after a feedback(signs in the art of creativity) through the uniqueness contained (sense in the art of creativity) can be improved and a better sequence made afterwards. A consistency in this order helps to bring the mastery to a professional level.

Support in the art of creativity

As every product and services cannot stand the test of time without adequate support and support staff, so is human’s creativity. We all need support to be productive and also to be a pro at every little expression and imagination will want to build on. The support has to be in form of encouragements, positive criticisms, adequate and timely information of great importance.

In today’s world, the science in the art of creativity is something we all practiced mostly in an unnoticed fashion daily, however, they form the little success we have had as well as serve as foundation for the success we are striving at today.
