I think nowadays altcoin mining become faded. Since mining is not a good solution for scaling up the altcoin. The altcoin is going to change from POW to POs. And there are more and more ICO with fixed amount of tokens. So the future of mining is not so optimistic...
I can not be more agreed with you... Times are changing so fast and it is unbelievable that Proof Of Work feels like a dinosaur just by passing a couple of years from the creation of it... Yes... GPU mining is dying but miners need to know what to do until coin distribution gets generalized in just one method... Cheers!
