Discover new ways to edit genes
US scientists have discovered the two new techniques to edit genes. On Wednesday, scientists announced this. A paper published on this topic in Nature magazine has been published.
The new technique is being claimed that it can be possible to solve most of the genetic diseases of the human being without the discovery of the medical method through gene editing.
Reports of news agency Reuters reported that the new two methods are called 'molecular editing' technology gene. Harvard University researcher David Liu and The Broad Institute of MIT have discovered a method. Using this method is possible to find the perfect solution for gene error. It basically works on DNA or deoxyribonucleic acids. A complete gene set is called a genome. And there are about 600 million DNA in the genome 'chemical base'. Using the recently discovered strategy, these billions of DNA 'chemical bases' errors will be corrected.
On the other hand, the second technique will work in ribonucleic acid or RNA. It has worked on the atomic biologist Feng Zhang of the Broad Institute. RNA can be edited using this technique. According to the new technique, RNA can carry genetic guidelines for making protein or protein without changing the DNA.
Crisper-Canine is the breakthrough in gene editing. This method is currently being used to edit genes. Basically, these two new methods have been created from this method. In the crypersper-canine system, the unnecessary part of the human genome is truncated.
In the Nature magazine on Wednesday, David Liu and his colleagues called this work as 'foundation editing'. DNA is broken in the crypersper-canine system. But DNA unit errors can also be corrected in base editing.
However, researchers have said that these two new methods have not yet been fully prepared for human experimentation.
