Generic Medicines
The Government of India is going to promote generic medicines in a big way. It is learned that the development is going to take effect from September 2018. As per the decision by the central government the generic names of medicines should be written in the same font of the brand name but 2 times bigger.
This decision has a very great impact taking into account the unholy relationships between the medical doctors and drug Mafia. Presently, there is very little awareness by the general public about the generic medicines. When the new policy comes into effect the people will start buying generic medicines more and more. Many people have wrong suspicions about the generic medicines thinking that they are less superior compared to the branded medicines.
This policy by the central government is very helpful for the poorest of the poor people who are not able to afford for costly medicines.
That's cool for our nation. I am also a Indian. This will impact the relationship between doctors & drug mafia. In india from children to old so many people get affected by drug. It will help to decrease the number of drug mafia.
