In all seriousness (some trekkies will get it) but these are straight facts, at most we might end up with a similar real world situation of a group of rich whales running the show in their own image but you’ll never get mass adoption because the ‘general public’ are just that — general.

They are the worker bees that rarely want to rise above their station, they want to stick to what they know, they may dance around on the fringe and dip their toes into the phase variance at weekends using alcohol to travel there but by sunday night they fall back and take the position to be butt banged into monday.

But there is more, to exist in the world of decentralised social media you need to be a phase shifter, it’s part and parcel of the experience here, if code is law and the code changes in milliseconds then you as a customer of the code have to be aligning with it too — this means multiple accounts, multiple resources, backups on backups, obfuscation at the hands of the machines, cherry picking the digital embers to form a clearer ankh.

smt will not be your quantum slipstream(steem?) drive

As much as I’d love to have a party and knock back shots back to back and nearly throw up in excitement in the back of a floating uber of the future I really don’t believe that set will be the massive slipstream that will elevate this platform — sure we might end up with steem being the api and smt being the nodes, sure it might keep the lights on but do we even know we are trying to build anymore? Is this the utopia you had planned? You already know the phase variance has been off for a while — these faucets can only hold you for long until the next code conduit comes along.

When fusion power drops and the price of energy is practically zero and everyone is mining their own value coin why do we need multiple services? Maybe we will just become these unique phase shifting polymorphic market adapting value tokens that just build value based on the time we add to the value of that coin, maybe the notion of stored value in a global society of robots doing all the tasks and chore means that by giving to others we build up our own value.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that crypto and steem will never get bigger, that would be wrong of you to assume even if you think I’m sounding like a negative Nancy over here — I’m just saying your focusing on bringing in an audience that would be HIGH MAINTENANCE. I’ve seen first hand how things work here, your either submissive or your an outsider, forlorn to the variance matrix, up and down, but still with a signal — we need you for the tx records after all, gotta keep those transactions up regards of your value in the block production :)

We don’t need to attract anyone, we built the better faucet, if centralised platforms are the stars, we are the super nova, our black hole does not vanish after a few days, it’s been slowly sucking in all the centralised refugees for the last few years, they come, take a look at the event horizon and move away scared of what’s inside, but they can’t get away from the fact that this place, cryptos are a destination, with no centralised ideal of what our universe is about either.

We are the Apsis of making the decision to jump from centralised to decentralised, but we do have them on the perihelion of making a decision to change, but we are not the ones to try and sing and dance to bring them over to the slow but rapidly speeding up self informing nature of steem, once over the boundary they will slowly accelerate their place.

We are not a ship, we are a place, nobody knows what’s on the other side of that space, when the rockets and the EMP’s start landing the nodes will flash from green to red and we will wonder what it was all for anyway.
