The average man is stronger than 97% of women.

That means a man stronger than 90% of men is stronger than 99.92% of women. ie 1 out of 1000 women is likely to be stronger than a 90% man.

Statistically, a man stronger than 99% of men will very likely be stronger than 100% of the women he meets.

Strength isn't everything, but similar numbers apply to all aspects of fighting ability, especially resistance to injury.

Having done Krav Maga, Judo and jujitsu, I know personally that skill level difference between men and women is irrelevant -- an above average man has to pull his punches (literally or metaphorically) with ALL women.

Now think of all the action movies where the female lead easily takes out the thugs.
