Gemstone IV - Corpip re-enters the world

Expanding upon my "Creating a character" series, I've actually begun the character created Corpip's journey in the world of Elanthia in Gemstone IV.

When you first enter the world you are put in front of a grand courtyard for Silverwood Manor. Silverwood Manor is a community dedicated to helping any and all inside the game who need help understanding the mechanics or the world in general. They are usually very friendly and helpful people who are on call to respond when the bell is rung. There is almost always someone from the Manor logged on 24/7.

I went ahead and adjusted my interface a little bit and will be trying a different setup than normal. Up top we have our thoughts window (more on that later), a copy of the "room" data, descriptions and who is there, and the big main window is the "story" window where all of the action will take place.

Since we don't really need anything from Silverwood Manor lets head OUT and into the world proper.

We are in the warrior Elven fortress city of Ta'vaalor. This is a pretty good starting place as they have a very well done underground Gnomish enclave. Normally we should be greeted by a sprite who helps us do some quests.

Looks like we are missing our sprite so maybe we do need a mentor... we'll follow up on that in a bit then.
