River duck on a tree

I walked along the river. I look at the branches of a tree sitting a river duck. Usually ducks fly along the river on a water surface. How this duck ended up on a tree and so far from the coast is simply amazing. The duck did not sit much. Then she flapped her wings and flew to the river.
