#Reto12Votos Semana 82 - Virus/ Eng-Esp
The Challenge12votes presents us with a week of viruses. We'll see a display of creativity at its best, as this theme is open to any literary occurrence.
Michael and Josephine is a young couple with little time of marriage. Maria has always maintained relationships with her only boyfriend and now husband. After a year of marriage, she went to her regular gynecological office and the doctor told her that she had some small warts on her cervix that needed to be cauterized in another office; she also had to go with her husband. This scared her very much, so how to tell the husband; what he would think of her.
When it was time to tell her the news, Miguel immediately asked her how she got it. If he didn't show any symptoms. She felt that he was accusing her of infidelity but did not discuss the point.
When they went to the gynecologist for the cauterization, the doctor explained that she was infected by her husband since she had relations only with him, according to her history. Miguel was a little indignant and confused because being married to Maria he had not been unfaithful. The doctor went on to say that he probably got infected before they were married but did not develop any symptoms and prescribed them both pills and creams.
After a long time, they did not report another manifestation of infection by making medical visits whit frequently.
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a disease that is transmitted through sexual contact. It is an infection that causes warts on different parts of the body: mouth, anus, feet, hands, or genitals. It is known as condyloma or cockscomb.
There are different kinds of this virus. Some are treated and disappear, others are high-risk and can lead to cancer. Any sexually active person can contract this virus and not show symptoms, so you should see your doctor regularly. For this reason, it is important to have a Pap test for women.
The person can be a carrier of HPV for years without knowing it but in women, it can explode into cervical cancer, everything will depend on the strain of the virus; because condylomas are not the same, as I said they are diverse. Some are benign and some are malignant. The shape of these warts is also varied; they can be flat, small, large or in the shape of a cauliflower. They are skin growths.
The pregnant woman will not have any major complications with the birth of the baby but it is important that she lets her doctor know that she is a carrier of this virus or that she once had it. Women who have a large number of warts in their vagina will have a Cesarean section.
Prevention recommendations to avoid papillomavirus include:
-Avoiding promiscuity
-The use of condoms.
-Vaccinate but it's a point I don't know about because I haven't heard about this before and even less here in Venezuela.
The sexual health of the couple is a shared responsibility.

Miguel y Josefina es una pareja joven con poco tiempo de casados. María siempre mantuvo relaciones con su único novio y ahora marido. Al año de casados, ella fue a su consulta ginecológica regular y el médico le dijo que tenía unas pequeñas verrugas en el cuello del útero y que había que cauterizar en otra consulta; además de que debía asistir con el esposo. Ese asunto la asustó mucho; entonces cómo decirle eso al esposo, qué pensaría de ella.
Llegado el momento de comunicar la noticia, Miguel inmediatamente le preguntó que cómo se contagió, si él no manifiesta ningún síntoma. Ella sintió que la acusaba de infidelidad pero no discutió el punto.
Cuando fueron al ginecólogo a la cauterización, el médico explicó que fue contagiada por el esposo ya que ella mantuvo relaciones sólo con él, según su historial. Miguel estaba un poco indignado y confundido porque estando casado con María no había sido infiel. El médico prosiguió diciendo que seguramente se infectó antes de casarse pero no desarrolló síntomas y les recetó a los dos unas pastillas y cremas.
Luego de un largo tiempo, no volvieron a reportar otra manifestación de infección realizando visitas médicas cada cierto tiempo.
El virus de Papiloma humano (VPH) es una enfermedad que se transmite por contacto sexual. Se trata de una infección que causa verrugas en diferentes partes del cuerpo: boca, ano, pies, manos o genitales. Es conocido como condiloma o cresta de gallo.
Existen diversas clases de este virus; hay una gran cantidad de tipos. Algunos son tratados y desaparecen, otros son de alto riesgo y pueden originar cáncer. Cualquier persona sexualmente activa puede contagiarse con este virus y no manifestar síntomas por lo que debe asistir periódicamente al médico. Por tal motivo es importante el examen Papanicolaou en las mujeres.
La persona puede ser portador de VPH durante años sin saberlo pero en la mujer puede explotar en cáncer de cuello uterino, todo dependerá de la cepa del virus; pues los condilomas no son los mismos, como ya dije son diversos. Unos benignos y otros malignos. La forma de estas verrugas también es variada; pueden ser planas, pequeñas, grandes o en forma de coliflor. Son abultamientos de la piel.
La mujer embarazada no tendrá mayores complicaciones con el nacimiento del bebé pero es importante que le haga saber a su médico que es portadora de este virus o de que alguna vez lo tuvo. Se harán una cesárea las mujeres que tengan una gran cantidad de verrugas en la vagina.
Entre las recomendaciones de prevención para evitar el papilomavirus cuentan:
-Evitar la promiscuidad
-El uso de preservativos.
-Vacunarse pero es un punto que desconozco, ya que no había escuchado antes sobre esto y menos aquí en Venezuela.
La salud sexual de la pareja es una responsabilidad compartida.
La historia no es personal pero está basada en hechos reales. Los personajes son ficticios.

There are some very scary things that can manifest itself in ones body, finding a Doctor is the only answer to help overcome some of these unusual events taking place. Our bodies are unique, full of mysteries not always fully explained, never heard of this, thanks for comprehensive explanation.

Hace tiempo había leído sobre el papiloma humano, cada vez más virus en en la gente, espero se puedan describir las curas y que todo acabe.

Este es el virus que ataca al sexo débil, las mujeres y si no se ataca puede ser mortal. Muy buen tema el que escogiste @antoniarhuiz, saliendose un poco de lo temático del coronavirus. Todos son importantes y todos son peligrosos.
Asi es amiga. Bueno obviamente el coronavirus es el tema del momento, por eso no quise tocarlo. Tampoco quise tocar el virus informático, son temas que están en el tapete.
