It can be thought that in 1903/1906, when Neina's game was actually used, 7/8 bore pistols were used by the English army in Ceylon and India.

It is said that over 10,000 of Elisha Collier's flintlock revolvers were manufactured by John Evans and Son of London between 1819 and 1824 and sent to the British Army in India.

Merolla Pistol,
This curious pistol was made by an eccentric gunsmith named Giovanni Merolla in Naples, Italy. Made in 1870, this pistol has two clusters of four barrels. Each hammer has four firing chute so that each barrel cluster is discharged simultaneously, making it a volley pistol. It is very strange and rare.
