Life as a music producer and DJ !!! Part Three

Hello again everyone !!!

In todays topic , I'm going to talk about Life as a music producer and DJ, the last part to this 3 part post .

Life as a music producer and DJ.

Now that you know what both a DJ and a music producer is (from the previous posts) we can move on to what its like to be both ! 

First off , to me this is the best and what I strive to do !!! being both has huge benefits , because not only will you be able to play music , you'll be able to play your own music that you've produced . This is really good because now you test out a track you've made in the studio and see if people like it before sending it off to a label to get signed . Also you can then, in the best environment possible , hear what to improve in the track you've made !  

Being a music producer and DJ is really amazing because most of the times , you'll be playing shows because of the music you produce and the event planners know people like the music you play , so its also an awesome way to grow a fan base !!! .

Allot of responsibilities .

Not only do you need to make sure you have a nice flow of DJ line ups , you also need to be able to throw in new music and produce more tracks for your sets to keep things going and get more people to like your music  !! so there is a huge deal of balancing time to get everything done in time !!!

Some sacrifices to be made .

Every job comes with a sacrifice or two , allot of times people hate their jobs and then have to deal with the sacrifices as well , which makes it worse !! But when you love what you do , the sacrifices are meaningless.

The sacrifices that you usually have to make is long hours in front of a computer(I love it though ,haha) and allot of times ,not allot of sleep because of all the work, and that also depends on how often you DJ  . 

Having balance 

Now , I'll be discussing balance as a whole other topic in a separate post , but when it comes to being a DJ and producer , you need to make sure you don't over work yourself , like with anything , you need to give your self time to rest or else you will crash and burn !!!

Conclusion .

So ending this 3 part topic off , being a music producer and DJ is allot more work then allot people may thing , its still an art on its own , even if its done all on computers .
