The intrigue revolves around a classified 1983 CIA report on a technique called the Gateway Experience, which is a training system designed to focus brainwave output to alter consciousness and ultimately escape the restrictions of time and space. The CIA was interested in all sorts of psychic research at the time, including the theory and applications of remote viewing, which is when someone views real events with only the power of their mind. The documents have since been declassified and are available to view.

One man was driving down the road at night and saw a large 4 foot tall owl, got a bad feeling and drove home.
He's a photographer, he goes into the woods where he knows there is an owl's nest and thinks, I don't think that was an owl I saw on the side of the road.
So he went through hypnotic regression to try to figure out what he actually saw.
Nothing really emerged in the regression he felt, except he has a vague memory of the owl wearing boots.
What is commonly reported is this 4 foot tall owl. . .anywhere between 24% to 48% of stories of owls pertain to the 4 foot tall owls.
The implication is the grey alien is using some kind of psychic impression to distort the observer's mind.
In hypnotherapist sessions when you listen in or read the transcripts, when someone tells the the therapist they saw a 4 foot tall owl, the hypnotherapist then says, "describe the owl."
They say, "It's bald, it has big black eyes, it's skinny, it's wearing a shiny uniform, it's got long fingers and I don't think that's an owl.
It's very commonly reported that at the end of a ufo contact experience, the beings [many times noted as grey beings] will say, "you will remember us as owls."
In the literature this is called a screen memory.
So there's a screen that they use with their technology or psychic means to distort what the witnesses have seen.
It's not just owls. . .owls and deer are at the top of the list.
People see deer under odd circumstances.
There are also cats, raccoons, squirrels, clowns.
A woman Mike Clelland knows well was working at an all girl's school for kids, she was 19 years old, it was like a summer camp.
She had to walk from one building to another so had to walk on a trail, not deep in the woods, just within the camp site.
She could hear kids playing in the background, she turns a corner and there was a grey alien standing by the side of the trail.
Their eyes meet and she hears this kind of echoing, reverberating voice in her head that repeats, "Owl, Owl, Owl." And she watches this being morph into an owl, then turn around and run into the woods.
After hearing hundreds of people reporting they have seen these 4 Foot owls, it's difficult to discount that Something isn't out there and happening.
