Out of the 14 stations that updated their prices today, 13 have posted either $2.14 and $2.15, whilst one lonely fella gave an astounding $1.87 outlier.

While most stations still list $2.05, the average price has officially moved up to $2.00 with the median $1.99. With little resistance, the 10-price Moving Average continues to signal strong bullish patterns compared to the overall average.

As long as moving average remains below the most common price ($2.05), we may see possibilities for a downturn in prices and be able to Dollar Cost Average some cheaper gases. Most recent changes in prices, however, indicate a continued trend towards the most recent high of $2.28.

The gas station listing $2.28 has since reduced their prices, but still brought it above the mode. If two more stations listing sub-$2 prices move their prices above $2, we will see a strong signal that sub-$2 prices have left the market and $2.15 would be a key zone for stations to surround.
