The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released an explanation regarding the earthquake that rocked the Garus area today, Saturday (3/12/2022) at 16.49.41 WIB earlier.

The results of the BMKG analysis show that this earthquake has parameter updates with a magnitude of M6.1. The epicenter of the earthquake is located at coordinates 7.44° LS ; 107.51° E.

Precisely located on land in the Mekarmukti area, Garut, West Java at a depth of 109 km.
