Pendulum, it's magical and can guide someone in decision making. Though some people don't usually rely on the results but in most cases the results is 80% accurate (in my own knowledge though). I first thought about simple pendulum in my secondary school level.
That time we used to wondered how it works but I think I have learned further from your post.
