They are accessible, cheap, and/or free options for your own wellness, without the MANY dangers pharmaceuticals impose. Every aspect of life is better when you feel healthy and happy, and we seek to reconnect you to your roots and remind you of these options for your health. 

Allow us to share the blessings of nature and introduce you to one of the marvelous new plants we have added to our GOE Seed Bank:

BROCCOLI is a delicious and nutritious cruciferous vegetable with lots of vitamins A, E, and Bs, as well as choline, manganese, sulphur, phosphor, potassium, copper, magnesium, protein, zinc, selenium, iron, calcium, and omega 3 fatty acids. It is well known to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and detoxifying capabilities and may also protect against cancer!

Broccoli grows as a tight little bunch on a leafy stem. It is a relative of cauliflower, kale, and cabbage!

Broccoli grows well during cool seasons. It likes full sun, lots of water, and rich, well-drained soil. It is best to plant beets in spring or late summer, because they thrive in the cool weather of fall and spring. Plant seeds in late summer and space them 18-24 inches apart.

Broccoli is recommended for growing in zones 3-10. ​

Harvest broccoli when the buds in the center are tightly closed. If you see yellow flowers blooming, cut them away. Even after you cut the main head, the plant can still grow bite sized shoots in the axils of the leaves.
