They are accessible, cheap, and/or free options for your own wellness, without the MANY dangers pharmaceuticals impose. Every aspect of life is better when you feel healthy and happy, and we seek to reconnect you to your roots and remind you of these options for your health. 

Allow us to share the blessings of nature and introduce you to one of the marvelous new plants we have added to our GOE Seed Bank:

ASPARAGUS is a delicious and nutritious vegetable with vitamins A, K, C, E and some Bs, as well a folate, copper, selenium, fiber, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, choline, zinc, iron, and protein. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is known as an aphrodisiac!

Asparagus is a perennial that grows back year after year and can reach 5-9 feet tall!

Plant asparagus in the ground 6-8 inches deep in full sun well after the last frost. Space them 12-18 inches apart in healthy, nutritious soil that can support your plants for year to come. It is ideal to wait 2-3 seasons before harvesting to give the plants ample time to mature. 

Asparagus is recommended for growing in zones 2-8.
