Are those peas that are growing on the roof?
I had to go and look up 'Fortunella margarita'.
We know it by the name of 'Kumquat'. I have never seen, let alone tasted on of those. Are they delicious?
(I've read that it can survive in our cold Belgian climate - when taken inside during winter. In your picture I see that it is a pretty productive plant, even when it is planted in a normal sized container. Is that right?)
those growing on the roof's name should is not peas!
but I would not translation thier name.
The language I use the most is my local/race language, is not country language.
This local language, I will not translation her name.

Fortunella margarita (Lour.) Swingle
Very easy to grow
Kind in the potted plant
Its root is very shallow
Height 1.5~2 meters
But he is afraid of too strong sunshine
Sunshine is too strong
Fruit will not taste good
So I planted it in the pot
Easy to move
The sun is too big, I moved to the room.
The sun is just right
I will put it at the junction of indoors and outside.
When taking pictures
Just at the junction
His fruit is very sweet
Very delicious
But Fortunella margarita (Lour.) Swingle also there are some kind that cannot be eaten / ornamental class .
The fruits of the ornamental class can not be eaten, but they can still be used as traditional Chinese medicine.
The one I planted is edible.
In fact, all I have planted are eat.
Me too. I take pride in the fact that everything I grow (even the flowers) are edible.
I've read that the Fortunella margarita is quite of a spoiled plant: not too cold, not too much sun, not to warm during winter... lol. It's really high-maintenance :0)
But if the fruit is really delicious, I might give it a go.
I love to experiment with plants I'm not familiar with :0)
you say are right
When it is in the result
As you said
Very picky rain and sunshine
Unless you don’t pick the taste
Otherwise your fruit will not taste good.
So I planted in potted plants
Move = exercise
Not Take care of good it,
still can eat,
Just not good taste
