Garden Journal 2018 Tropical Paradise

I am from America but live in the Philippines While I have already many flowers, fruits and vegetables growing, I am starting a new garden. This new garden I will join in and do a monthly journal with you all!

A few photos of what is already going on in Daddy William’s yard. Most photos were taken this morning!

The first time this tree is fruiting. I am not sure of the name, but they call it the blueberry of the Philippines!

This is one of the most amazing fruits here. It is called Marang! Very large trees that we usually get hundreds of this delicious fruit that grow to a similar size of a pineapple.

Lastly, here is my new garden. I am still in the process of tilling up the soil. This is not an established garden. I still have to put a fence around it to keep out our goats.

Also outside of this garden, I am planting papaya trees.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Woow! Your garden is beautiful with flowers and fruits. :) We'll be looking forward to seeing more of your garden :) :) I love the mangoes! Is that the same tree where the kids in your previous blog got the mangoes from? :)

Thank you my friend! Yes! We have 12 Caribou mango trees and one native mango tree!
God bless!
Daddy

Everything looks great in your garden!

Thank you so much for checking it out and for your comments!

wow! I dreamed to have a wide yard to plant fruit trees and flowering plants as well. The flowers are beautiful.

Thank you and perhaps you will buy that dream place with some SBD.

Very nice @mhm-philippines!
So much fruit. That's awesome. Pineapple would be my pick of your fruits.
It will be fun watching that Marang fruit grow. Does it taste similar to any other fruit? I've never heard of those...
Looks like that tilled up nice.
A fun contest. Glad you joined.

Thanks! I love the pineapple also. So much different than what you get at the store. Marang has a unique taste. Very sweet! Like honey, pears, apricot and more mixed together.
The photo shows the Marang as it is ripe,

Thanks for sharing. That sounds wonderful!

All that tropical fruit--it looks so delicious. It is a race against the clock to have bananas and papayas where I live. The orange earth in your last picture looks rich. I wish you lots of luck in your new garden.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your comments! Just ate some pineapple, mango and papaya from our yard. We also make artsara out of the papaya. I love that!
