Garden Journal Challenge - Sowing in my School
In the educational institution of the community where my children study and my wife @lisbethseijas works, the students, teachers and representatives made an agroecological route to strengthen the flagship project called PTMS All Hands to Planting Program in which to sow various Crops such as cambur, quinchoncho, eggplant, lechoza, chives, aji, among others.
The All Hands to Sowing Program (PTMS), launched in 2009 for the entire Venezuelan education system, both in the basic education subsystem and the university education subsystem allows promoting sustainable agriculture and agroecological practice in institutions National education
Eggplant cultivation, where the fruit is already observed
This project aims to stimulate other institutions to plant different crops and, on the other hand, in the pedagogical aspect, it seeks to motivate children who feel the love of the land, in turn, learn what are the techniques for planting , depending on the item they are going to grow. Likewise, they can create their productive yards in their homes for the benefit of the family.
Different stations were made that were identified with different names, where each group cultivated different items of both short and long cycles.
Mangle Station: which has quinchoncho, eggplant planting.
It should be noted that these crops were sown in the month of February of the year 2019, where some crops of eggplant, cambur, parchita, among others were obtained.
Below are some pictures of the different items.
