Apparently I've got a big one? WELSHIES garden harvest continues
I wrote about a fortnight ago about my favourite harvest in my garden, the runner bean. HERE
Well I did say that this plant is the gift that keeps on giving....
This will be out 4th meal from this one plant, since it became ready to harvest. My simple "tee-pee" of 5 plants can comfortably feed a family of 3, twice a week. This plant should be a staple in anyone's garden.
My next set of spuds are ready to dig up, so it's another meal of gammon, potatoes and runner beans.
There were enough spuds here for 2 meals, so I'll keep them to one side and eat them later on in the week.
My beetroot are ready to harvest, so I'll be digging them up tonight, so if you want to know what I do with my beetroot keep an eye out later in the week.

Excellent, my beans have hardly done anything yet. A few small ones on the way. Mange tout and peas have been great and plentiful. Beans not so.... Yet.
