If I plant them, feed them ,water them, care for them, watch them growing and feeling happy I am unable to kill and eat them ...
Lol...after a while, the best thin you can do for them in my opinion is eat them, as if you dont your plants will slowly wilt and die without fullfiling their destiny in life ;)
Actually while growing herbs for example, picking them as they grow (just what you need) will make them actually grow bigger.
And if you really dont want to pick anything, you can always grow some decorative plants or flowers...it looks amazing indoors.
