Thanks for sharing your recipe. I was wondering if this also works on mosquitoes and ticks for personal use on skin? I like to have a rolled tobacco cigarette every once in awhile too so we may to try our hand at tobacco farming next year!
I've never used it personally on mosquitoes, but have for gnats with great success, so I would assume that you would get very similar results with this on the mosquitoes as well.
For use on your own skin, I wouldn't reccomend spraying this directly on yourself due to the high nicotine content, as it may make you feel a little dizzy and/or nauseus.
I would suggest making a mixture using either citronella or marigolds for use on your own skin, and that should be perfectly safe and yield great results.
I do my best to use organic fertilzer on everything that I grow, and am almost at 100% organic. As of now, I'd say 90% of all I grow is organic, with my wheat and oats being the only two crops that I grow that still get chemical fertilizer, but I hope to change this very soon. The only reason to this is due to the high nitrogen needs of those plants along with the large size of the areas that I grow them in.
Nothing like cheap and effective homemade insecticide!

maybe you used alsoan organic pertilizer?
